Greenpeace's EfficienCity Drive

With the Government seemingly green-lighting new coal power stations and giving the nod to nuclear, Greenpeace have built a virtual town to show that there are viable alternatives to generating energy.

EfficienCity (see what they've done there?) shows how a town can effectively generate its own electricity and heat, thus fighting climate change and enjoying a more secure energy supply through decentralised energy.

Visitors to EfficienCity can watch video case studies, animations and slideshows that explain exactly how a genuinely clean and efficient energy system works.

The virtual town will also show you what efforts you can make to make your own town cleaner and greener.
