Climate Emergency

As the new Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, is confronted by the worst flood emergency in Britain in 60 years, new research confirms for the first time that greenhouse gasses have changed the rainfall patterns over large parts of the UK, Europe, Canada and Russia.

Scientists predict in the research published in Nature, that extreme weather events and heavy rainfall will increase over the UK as the global climate warms.
