The burning of coal for the production of energy is responsible for over 50% of the manmade carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, yet the UK Government is still planning to build eight new coal power stations - Britain's first in over 30 years.
John Hutton MP is the minister who will decide whether the programme goes ahead and, although it should be a no-brainer, we think Mr Hutton might need a nudge in the right direction.
